BODY LIFE EVANGELISM

Take a survey: how many of your individual cell members have been equipped to personally
lead another person to Christ? Add to your survey: how many of your individual cell groups
have experienced a conversion in their meeting? According to 1 Corinthians 14:24-26, every cell
group should be experiencing an unbeliever falling on his face in their midst crying, “God is
certainly among you!”
Our weakest area is equipping cell members to individually and collectively bring unbelievers to
follow Christ. While there are many evangelism tools, few exactly fit our cell structures.
What I will share is not theory. I have personally experienced over and over the effectiveness of
everything presented.
From 1970 to 1990, bits and pieces of this were falling into place. In secular Singapore as the
strategist for the Faith Community Baptist Church, our team developed what follows. We grew
from 600 to 7,000 in five years, not by transfers but conversions. A tally-board in the church
office reported daily phoned-in conversion reports through the personal evangelism of cell
members. Weekly cell group reports also revealed those converted in the actual cells.
